Carl at Disneyland 1955

Idea: 

    In Adventure Land, Carl and Ellie were employed at Disneyland when it first opened in 1955. Carl sells balloons while Ellie explores the Jungle Cruise. Timeline-wise: this matches pretty well. In 1939. Carl was 9, Ellie was 8, so by 1955, Carl and Ellie were 25 and 24, swell young ages to be working at Disneyland. 

Carl:

     Made from Crayola Air-Dry Clay, 2 toothpicks and painted with acrylic; glasses made from very nice cardboard divider in Lipton's tea bunches, bread-twisty's wire with coat of black acrylic + lens made from the round-hive plastic-things from the large Ferrero Rocher-- fun chocolate treat   Balloons made by attaching bread-twisty's wire to painted Ferrero Rocher's round-hive plastic-things.

Adveture Land:  Mostly made of cardboard, sticks, clay and glue. Borrowed a rock and my mom's plant + a button and some thread.

Notes:    

      Um . .  there's a typo: Adventure Land is missing an "N"; and unfortunately Ellis's not in the picture. That's because if you look at her frame, she has less "blocky" legs to support her body than Carl, so I would have actually needed to make a wire frame for her-- which I have no such wire, so I didn't make Ellie. They would have been great together!
